DESCRIPTION:Join Cheshire artist Allie Pottinger on Monday 19th May to paint and sketch in our gorgeous grounds and gardens\, including lots of demonstrations and guidance to paint a beautiful Spring Landscape. Weather permitting we will spend some time in the grounds sketching and watercolour paint indoors in the marquee. \nYou may wish to bring a lightweight camping chair. \nSuitable for beginners & intermediates alike. Small class size. \nThe Lakeside Café will be open from midday until 4pm should you wish to purchase refreshments during painting or at lunchtime. \nYour ticket includes all art materials (although if you keep a sketch book you may wish to bring this)\, free entry to the grounds\, gardens and woodland walk which are open from midday until 5pm.

DESCRIPTION:The East Cheshire Hospice Starlight Walk returns to Capesthorne Hall on Thursday 15th May 2025. \nThe walk is an opportunity for you\, your family and friends to come together and walk a choice of a 2.5km loop\, 2 loops for 5k or 4 loops for 10k through the beautiful grounds in memory of a loved one. The walk takes place at dusk and there will be beautiful lighting\, lanterns\, fire pits\, points of reflection and other features to enjoy along the way. \nWalkers are encouraged to raise funds for East Cheshire Hospice to help fund the care of patients both now and in the future. The event will include live entertainment\, food and drink stalls including alcohol.
