DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday 12th June 2024\, our gardens will be open to the public in partnership with the National Garden Scheme. \nNormal garden entry will apply at £8.50 for adults and all takings will go to charity. The scheme saw over £3.1 million donated to nursing and health charities in 2022. \nThe Capesthorne acres which surround the Hall with woodland\, parkland\, and lakes\, provide a wonderful\, relaxing space for all visitors. \nOur Lakeside Café will also be open\, serving delicious home-made light refreshments. Afternoon Teas are available (please note\, pre-booking is required at least one week beforehand by calling 01625 861221). \nChildren up to 16 yrs will be free of charge for this event. \nThe Main Hall will be open from 12:30pm to 3:30pm (last entry 3:00pm) for an additional charge of £4 per person\, payable at the Hall Entrance. \n  \nFree parking

DESCRIPTION:The East Cheshire Hospice Starlight Walk returns to Capesthorne Hall on Thursday 18th April 2024. \nThe walk is an opportunity for you\, your family and friends to come together and walk a choice of a 2.5km loop\, 2 loops for 5k or 4 loops for 10k through the beautiful grounds in memory of a loved one. The walk takes place at dusk and there will be beautiful lighting\, lanterns\, fire pits\, points of reflection and other features to enjoy along the way. \nWalkers are encouraged to raise funds for East Cheshire Hospice to help fund the care of patients both now and in the future. The event will include live entertainment\, food and drink stalls including alcohol. DESCRIPTION:Mini Off-Rovers are bringing their mini Land Rover driving experiences for children back to Capesthorne Hall for February half-term 2024! \nDriving on this off-road experience\, children will have their driving skills put to the test as they manoeuvre their way through the trees\, around the bends\, across the fields and maybe even passed the grazing sheep! \nThis experience offers children an unrivalled level of freedom and independence as they drive on our off-road route\, and gives parents both the opportunity to witness their child in the driving seat and a thoroughly enjoyable walk around this naturally stunning landscape. It is an experience the whole family will find thrilling! \nThis is a driving experience for children. Each mini Land Rover holds 1 driver\, 5-9 years-old (inclusive) & 1 passenger\, 2-4 years-old (inclusive). Strictly no adults or children over 9 years-old are allowed to drive on or in the vehicles.
