Capesthorne Hall is a historic house owned by the Bromley-Davenport family. The Hall is open to the public between April and October each year on Sundays, Mondays and Bank Holidays. In addition, the house is also used for weddings, parties, filming and other corporate events throughout the year.

A number of park events, such as car shows and music festivals take place over the summer. The Lakeside Café is open to the general public on Open Days, and to parties or small company meetings at other times.

Cleaner for the Hall and wedding venue, self-catering accommodation and caravan park shower block.

3 days per week including some weekends, minimum of 12 hours per week.

Experience required but not essential.

Hardworking, flexible and enthusiastic.

Own transport is essential.

Hospitality Team Member

This is a fun and varied role that includes assisting at events and maintaining the standard of the venue. Due to the nature of the business, there will be a requirement for some weekend and evening shifts.


  • Assisting the events team at weddings, events, corporate functions, and filming days.
  • Serving food and drinks in the Lakeside Café during Open Days and in-house events.
  • Assisting with turnarounds between events.
  • Working at private family events.
  • Helping to maintain the cleanliness of the venue to the highest standard.
  • Care of artefacts and antiques in the Hall.


  • The highest level of customer service and attention to detail.
  • Excellent team player with a friendly ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Professional and presentable at all times.
  • Adhere to all aspects of health and safety.
  • Own transport and driving license essential.
  • Proof of right to work in the UK.

Hall Steward

Hall Stewards required to work when the Hall is open to the public on Sundays and Mondays from April until the end of October.
Working for 3.5 to 4 hours on 2 or 3 days a month, the role involves Hall security duties, directing visitors and answering questions on the history of Capesthorne Hall and its contents.
