We would definitely recommend Capesthorne Hall to any of our friends and family for their wedding venue! It’s the perfect setting for any size of wedding party and you can easily make it your own. We had around 100 guests and used both the main hall and the lakeside suite on the day of our wedding, which offered the mix of the impressive stately hall to wow our guests on arrival with welcome drinks and canapés, then the bright and modern wedding breakfast and dancing location to continue the celebrations into the evening.

Lucy and the team were amazing at coordinating our day. Lucy was our main point of contact, she was so lovely, professional and very organised. She made everything run so smoothly in the run up to the big day and on the day itself.

Our wedding party also stayed in the on site accommodation, which is beautifully decorated and spacious. Our family were very impressed and it was so nice to all wake up the day after and have breakfast together while looking out onto the stunning lake and gardens.

It was a truly magical venue!

We’ve just celebrated our wedding at Capesthorne Hall. I’m admittedly a bit of a control freak but Lynn absolutely put me at ease from the initial viewing, to answering all my erratic questions and executing a gorgeous event.

We felt we were in the safest hands and really appreciate the team taking all the stress from us on the day. I know there are always things that might not go to quite to plan, and a huge amount of work from so many people that goes into making weddings seem to seamless, but we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.

Capesthorne will always hold an incredibly special place in our hearts, we were so proud to host our guests there and it’s all down to such a wonderful team.

Looking for a perfect wedding venue in Cheshire then look no further. Capesthorne Hall is fabulous.

I cannot fault the attentive staff, both on the day and beforehand – everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Emails were answered quickly and they were always patient, putting your mind at ease and offering suggestions. (We mainly dealt with Lucy who was a true professional.) Our daughter’s wedding felt so important to them.

The overnight accommodation is nearby beside the lake and is beautiful, used by all the bridal party and has a breakfast room for the guests.

We searched for 4 to 5 months looking at almost every Cheshire venue before we found Capesthorne. Save yourself time and don’t hesitate to book – you won’t be disappointed.

We had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Capesthorne Hall, and it truly left an impression. The venue is nothing short of spectacular, with its mix of historic charm and natural beauty. What stood out to us the most were the incredible outdoor spaces. The lakeside views and formal gardens gave us so many opportunities to capture romantic, scenic shots. The whole setting feels almost storybook-like, which added a magical touch to the couple’s portraits.

The staff were really welcoming and helpful, ensuring everything flowed smoothly throughout the day. It’s a venue that offers something truly unique. If you’re looking for a place that combines elegance with beautiful natural surroundings, Capesthorne Hall is a fantastic choice.

From when we first saw Capesthorne Hall, we fell in love with it. It is the most beautiful place and we knew it would be perfect for our wedding. Lynn was incredible from the moment we met her.

Everything from organising times we could see the venue, being a friendly voice on the phone, advising us about all things wedding to accommodating our requests, nothing was too much trouble. Leading up to the wedding, our wedding coordinator was extremely organised which makes a brides life so much easier!

The attention to detail with everything was immaculate. Our wedding day ran so smoothly and that was largely down to the Capesthorne staff. Such professional and friendly people who are so lovely!

I just wanted to reiterate in writing what an amazing and fantastic job you have done Lucy, always being patient and reassuring when any of us had called in the lead up to the wedding , and in particular on the actual day of the wedding being present discreetly in the background ensuring that everything was running smoothly.

Everyone had the most fantastic time including the day before when the couple’s close friends were able to stay at the hub.

The little touches like the little gift left for them by the owners, and allowing the guests to wander round the great hall looking at the rooms upstairs. The Dutch guests in particular were so impressed with it and the history.

Having our wedding at Capesthorne Hall was like a dream come true for Mark and I. It was truly a spectacular day and we couldn’t fault the staff who were so attentive from start to finish.

Lucy was so professional from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel very special and her attention to detail and communication was second to none. All the staff are very warm and welcoming and I cannot recommend the beautiful hall enough!

We would 5* recommend Capesthorne Hall as a wedding venue. When my husband and I first visited we knew this was the venue for us. We loved the mix of the stately hall and more modern Lakeside Wing. The grounds are stunning and there are so many great spots for photos!

The events team were fabulous and know exactly what they are doing. We initially met Lucy and later Lynn, both were lovely and very communicative. You could tell the team are very experienced at coordinating weddings and we felt very relaxed during the run up and on the big day itself. They really do go above and beyond and think of everything.

We also used the on-site accommodation which is done up to a high standard and reasonably priced. Our guests loved staying there and it was great to sit by the lake and debrief with everyone in the morning.

Beautiful venue. My daughter has just been married in the Lakeside. The whole organisation exudes an air of friendliness, calm and efficiency. It is hard to imagine how things could have been better.

Everyone, and I mean everyone, commented on the outstanding location and how welcome we were all made to feel.

Big handy hint: If you have people traveling from afar, consider using the lodges . They are comfortable, quiet , clean and well equipped.

There is also a communal kitchen block, with all mod cons, with an outside terrace overlooking the lake, where everyone can meet up and chill out prior to the big day.

If you are planning either a wedding or other event, this place should be on your list.

Choosing a venue is highly subjective – everyone has their own taste. We were looking for something classically English – a venue that was not only visually stunning but steeped in heritage. Capesthorne Hall is a wonderful example of this – frankly nothing in the area comes close.

The true quality of Capesthorne Hall goes far beyond the wonderful aesthetics. Our Wedding Coordinator, Lynn was highly dedicated, genuine, and capable. Both in preparation for the wedding, and on the day itself, all of the Hall staff were incredibly professional and personable – we could not have asked for better service.

All of our guests have remarked how spectacular the venue was – but even more importantly that they were made to feel very welcome and safe (given the context of COVID). Indeed, Lynn and the team showed great flexibility and understanding throughout the entire process – such compassion meant so much to us when rearranging our date due to the pandemic.

We simply could not recommend Capesthorne Hall highly enough.
